The Catholic Community of Northern Columbia County

This past week, a number of parishioners from our three parishes met with each other in two different Listening Sessions (Sessions 1a
and 1b). The topics included the successes and challenges of the individual parishes and the CCNCC prior to Covid and post Covid, to
date, as well as what are the hopes and visions for individual parishes and the CCNCC Network for the next 5 years and beyond. 

There were discussions and brainstorming for solutions, including how to attract younger people and families. More information on the results of these Listening Sessions will be forthcoming in the near future.

The next pair of Listening Sessions will be in early December (dates and locations TBD). The topic will be - how to invite and welcome
others for Christmas Masses (beyond our devoted parishioners and their family and friends). Also, how to ask others who have not come back since Covid, and encourage them to attend with you, even if for just one Mass! In time, an additional question to discuss (on follow-up from Listening Sessions 1a and 1b) will be, how can we encourage others to come more often (see above, regarding forthcoming brainstorming sessions). This will be an ongoing topic - not just for Christmas - but let's start with this Christmas and go from there! Watch for more details.
