Monday Movie Club & Potluck
Movie lovers in our tri-parish community are reviving what we hope will be a series of Monday evening screenings at St. James in Chatham.
Beginning on Monday, Dec. 2 at 5:30PM,
Join us for a free screening of one in a series of films with a spiritual theme,
Cabrini, a powerful epic of Francesca Cabrini, an Italian immigrant who arrives in New York City in 1889 and is greeted by disease, crime, and impoverished children. Cabrini sets off on a daring mission to convince the hostile mayor to secure housing and healthcare for society's most vulnerable. With broken English and poor health, Cabrini uses her entrepreneurial mind to build an empire of hope unlike anything the world had ever seen.
Bring a dish or treat to share, and join us as we begin Advent; the screening itself will start at 6PM.
