WE ARE EASTER PEOPLE AND ALLELUIA! IS OUR SONG!

Thank you for being with us today as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ! We sing Alleluias over and over again today and throughout this magnificent season, because Jesus who died for us has now risen! It’s a wonderful day to be a Catholic Christian! It’s a great day to celebrate together! It’s so glorious that we celebrate for 50 days!
Alleluia! What does it mean? In short, it means Praise God! – or Praise the Lord! – with joy and giving thanks because of the love God has shown us in Jesus, Our Lord.
For the last few weeks, we have been reflecting on various biblical quotes. (To review, go to our website and see the bulletins since Ash Wednesday.)
Today’s quote, however, is not in the bible! “...Alleluia is our song...” Alleluia for Jesus’ death and resurrection and Alleluia for all the gifts God has given us, especially faith, family, friends, and every breath we take!
Today we sang Alleluia for the first time in 40 days! We sang it before the gospel, after the gospel and will a few more times during mass. We keep in mind that:

SOMOS GENTE DE PASCUA ¡Y ALELUYA! ES NUESTRA CANCIÓN!

¡Gracias por estar con nosotros hoy mientras celebramos la Resurrección de Jesucristo! Cantamos Aleluyas una y otra vez hoy y durante esta magnífica temporada, ¡porque Jesús, quien murió por nosotros, ahora ha resucitado! ¡Es un día maravilloso para ser cristiano católico! ¡Es un gran día para celebrar juntos! ¡Es tan glorioso que celebremos durante 50 días!
¡Aleluya! ¿Qué significa? En resumen significa ¡Alabado sea Dios! – o ¡Alabado sea el Señor! – con alegría y dando gracias por el amor que Dios nos ha mostrado en Jesús, Nuestro Señor.
Durante las últimas semanas, hemos estado reflexionando sobre varias citas bíblicas. (Para revisar, vaya a nuestro sitio web y vea los boletines desde el Miércoles de Ceniza).
¡La cita de hoy, sin embargo, no está en la Biblia! “...Aleluya es nuestro canto...” ¡Aleluya por la muerte y resurrección de Jesús y Aleluya por todos los dones que Dios nos ha dado, especialmente la fe, la familia, los amigos y cada respiración que tomamos!
¡Hoy cantamos Aleluya por primera vez en 40 días! La cantamos antes del evangelio, después del evangelio y lo haremos unas cuantas veces más durante la misa. Tengamos en cuenta que:
