Weekend of THe 26th and 27th

Dear Father, help us to uplift those around us, creating an
environment where every person feels valued and supported,
old and young alike. Let our actions reflect Your grace; and
may kindness be the foundation of our interactions. Amen.

SUMMER SERVICE DAYS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - SIGN UP Next event: Troy Sidewalk Warriors. Thursday, August 14 Food prep (300 bagged lunches) will occur at churches 1–3pm. Delivery and distribution will begin at 3:45 pm from churches to Troy. Volunteers needed for each portion!! Learn about Sidewalk Warriors at www.sidewalkwarriorstroy.com. This is an excellent opportunity for our newly confirmed; transportation will be available; contact Ann Valley at CCNCCformation@gmail.com with any questions! A link will be sent to parishioners this week, and paper sign-ups are in each church. Let’s join our efforts to make a difference!

Final Summer Service Event: Thursday evening, August 21—be involved at a local nursing home. Details in the making! Patroon Farm visit—On July 14, Ann Valley and catechist Ann Vehlies participated in harvested radishes for 2 hours at Patroon Farm with local volunteers. No rain, and a breeze made the environment comfortable. This experience educated us on the intensity of effort required to complete these tasks. We greatly appreciate our farm workers who perform this demanding work for many more hours and days, under more challenging weather, to fulfill the needs of so many. We were blessed with what we learned; we encourage others to become involved!

Other August Events: Join in the tri-parish picnic and celebration in honor of the Feast of the Assumption of Mary, August 15. (See
p. 5 for more details.)

Looking to the Fall: Family Faith Formation registration forms will be mailed beginning August 12. More details to come! (Thank you
to everyone who completed our FFF surveys last week!) Please contact Ann Valley at (W) (518) 758-1828, (C) (518) 227-1025 or
ccnccformation@gmail.com for more information about any of our programs.
