  Family Faith Formation

"The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us, but that we will finally hear God.”

Family Faith Formation registration information was mailed on September 26.  Anyone who did not receive a mailing and wishes to register should call Ruth Ellen at 518-758-1828 or email her.

The purpose of Family Faith Formation is to form FAMILIES in FAITH as disciples of Jesus, living their lives as he lived.  FFF meets once a month beginning in October with both a morning and an evening option.  The exception is for those young people eligible for the Sacraments. Preparation for those receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist for the first time will be on Sunday morning, while preparation for those receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation will be Sunday evening.  Families will attend Mass, followed by food and formation. At least one adult must attend with the young people, but the adult may be a grandparent, or other adult family member.  Call if you have any questions.  The current calendar is through December 2023.  We will share any changes to the Formation and Mass schedule once any decisions regarding changes are made.  For now, morning Family Faith Formation will begin with the 9:15 am Sunday Mass at St. James, and the evening Family Faith Formation will begin with 5 pm Sunday Mass at St. John the Baptist.
