Browsing Family Formation and Youth Ministry News

Weekend of November 5 and 6, 2022

"The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us, but that we will finally hear God."

How do you wait for the Messiah?  According to Sister Kitty Hanley, Advent is for children, so Session 3 of Family Faith Formation will focus on ways to “wait in joyful hope.”  Families will share their favorite practices and perhaps gather some new ideas as we examine music, the Canticle of Zechariah, the Jesse Tree, and Advent calendars.

There will be an Advent Wreath Workshop on Sunday, November 27 at 2 pm at St. John the Baptist.  Space is limited, and open first to families in Family Faith Formation.
