SPECIAL REMINDER to all 1st reconciliation/1st Eucharist families! The next preparation session takes place on Sunday, Dec. 1 at St. Joseph’s at 9:15 am. Preparation lessons are followed by the 10:45 am mass. All youth preparing for either first reconciliation and/or first Eucharist are expected to attend instruction and Mass.
Family Gathering #2 at St. James church takes place on Sunday, Nov. 24. We begin with 9 Mass, then share a light breakfast, and gather in groups for formation. Family Gathering #3 at St. John the Baptist church takes place Sunday, Dec. 1, beginning with Mass at 5 pm. A shared meal (home-made mac-n-cheese, folks!), and faith formation follow the family mass.

UPCOMING SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH AND FAMILIES:
In November and December, we will focus on lending time to help clean up the cemeteries of the CCNCC. The dates are:
· St. Mary’s Stuyvesant Falls – Nov. 24 noon – 2 pm
· St. James Cemetery – Dec. 8 1:30 pm – 3 pm
Confirmation candidates are especially called to share their time at our service opportunities.
Also in December we will make Christmas cards at our monthly gatherings for parishioners needing care away from home and for our home bound members. The Bethlehem tree is also an opportunity to share your gifts and be blessed with Christmas spirit.
In January we will prepare, deliver, and serve bagged lunches for Sidewalk Warriors in Troy. Date TBD
