"The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us, but that we will finally hear God.”
This weekend we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. The first reading from Exodus recounts Moses’s encounter with God on Mount Sinai: “The Lord, the Lord, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger and rich in kindness and fidelity.” In a world of headline grabbing violent behavior, what would happen if each of us were slow to anger?
The next Family Faith Formation is this Sunday, June 4 at 5 pm at St. John the Baptist.
