Weekend of June 24 and 25, 2023

"The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us, but that we will finally hear God.”

This week is the 12th week in Ordinary Time (ordinalis, from the latin term meaning ‘numbered’ or ‘ruled’.) Ordinary time occurs twice during the Church calendar year - between the Christmas Season and Lent, and then between Pentecost and Advent.  The Gospels of Ordinary Time help us learn much of what Jesus lived and taught. This week, Jesus reminds us that when we proclaim God to others, we should not be afraid because God knows everything about each of us.  Think about that.  We are able to keep secrets from everyone, but God knows all, and most importantly, loves all of us always!

July Family Service

During the month of July, we will gather for service to others each Monday evening, beginning Monday, July 10 at 5:30 pm, and continuing July 17, July 24, and July 31.  These Mondays will include projects for families of all ages. Watch here for more information!
