First Eucharist

God bless all of our younger children who received the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time this month. Please pray for all of them as they continue their faith journey: Kathryn, Tyler, Ella, Sam, Marcus, Declan, Aleigha, and Jackson.

We also ask for God’s blessings on their catechist, Jenn Pulver. We are blessed to have her share her faith with our children and their families.

Summer Service Mondays Please join us Monday, July 15, July 22, and July 29 at St. John the Baptist. We will continue to practice the
Corporal Works of Mercy with projects for families of all ages, beginning at 5:30 pm. More information will follow!

Children’s Offertory

Each Sunday Mass, all children are invited to bring nonperishable items forward during the Offertory when the other gifts are brought to the altar. The items brought to Mass by children are donated to the local food pantries. One of the parents from St. James made the suggestion to collect items as another way to practice the Corporal Works of Mercy – this year’s Family Faith Formation theme. We encourage families to talk with their children about ways they can help others facing food insecurity.
