Preparing for Ash Wednesday and Lent Many of you remember that last year our Family Faith Formation prepared the ashes for distribution on Ash Wednesday at the three parishes of the CCNCC. Ashes are the burned remains of the previous year’s blessed palms.

If you have palms at your house and wish to dispose of them, please bring them to your parish and place them in the
designated receptacle. Our families with gather at the conclusion of the February 4th FFF at St. John the Baptist and
the February 11th  FFF at St. James for the Ritual for the Burning of the Blessed Palms. All are welcome.

Our final January gathering is:
· Sunday, January 28 at 5 pm at St. John the Baptist

Our February Gatherings are
· Sunday, February 4 at 5 pm at St. John the Baptist
· Sunday, February 11 at 9 am at St. James

Dates to remember for families with young people receiving First Reconciliation
· Saturday, February 10 at 9 am First Reconciliation Retreat
at the Church of St. Joseph (Change in venue)
