"The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us, but that we will finally hear God.”
In December, the adults in Family Faith Formation heard about the bodily needs of people seeking aid at Troy’s Joseph House from Amy LaFountain, Executive Director, and Tiana Minervini, Associate Director of Outreach Services, while our young people discussed the ways we can practice the Corporal Works of Mercy. This month we will tie fleece blankets, make, and bag 100 sandwiches at each gathering as our response to the needs of Joseph House individuals and families. And we will continue to pray….
Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Matthew 5:7
