Our hard-working group, along with Father Steve, Carl, Charlotte, Fay, and Dave from the community worked to make and assemble 125 bagged meals for the Sidewalk Warriors program on Thursday, 1/30. Extra special thanks to our amazing associate/large-scale chef, Kim Layton, for making 20 pounds of chicken salad for the sandwiches. It’s moving what our efforts accomplish when we
come together. Every meal was needed. If you’re not familiar, check out the Sidewalk Warriors program of Troy. This is an extraordinary group of volunteers who provide hot/cold food, pantry and household items along an entire block in Troy each Thursday. Many thanks, also, to Anita, Emily, and Declan for making the delicious ziti for our gathering!
Families shared blessed activities and moments at our 1st Reconciliation retreat on 1/25. Keep these youth in your prayers as they receive their sacrament this week.
