The beginning is near.

Although it is still Advent, our December Family Faith Formation gatherings look to the Christmas Season.  We bless the crèches in our homes, our trees, and our meals as we await the celebration of the Birth of Emmanuel.  At the conclusion of the Twelve Days of Christmas, we will bless our homes to remind us that Jesus continues to dwell among us.   

  Bethlehem Tree

The Bethlehem Tree is up and decorated with the tags for gifts for 30 children.   You can take a tag to shop for a gift, donate a gift card to Target, or cash and the Bethlehem helpers will shop for you. Please return all gifts unwrapped with the original tag by Sunday, December 11. Please join us to wrap at the wrap party on Thursday, December 15 at 6 pm.

If you are willing to drive to deliver gifts to Catholic Charities in Hudson on Friday, December 16, please call Ruth Ellen at 518-758-1828.

Father Dan Quinn - An Advent Reflection

Please join us on Tuesday, December 13 at 6:30 pm at the Church of St. Joseph, Stuyvesant Falls.  Father Dan Quinn, pastor of Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany, will lead us in an Advent reflection.     

Sidewalk Warriors

Please continue to supply cereal, granola bars, tuna, peanut butter, and individually wrapped toilet paper for those friends who visit Sidewalk Warriors of Troy each week.  

We still have a need for volunteers to help with delivery to Sidewalk Warriors on Thursday evenings.  We usually deliver every other week.  Please call Ruth Ellen at 518-758-1828 if you are willing to help.
