SOUPER BOWL COLLECTION by Confirmation Candidates

“Souper Bowl” is a nationwide initiative to provide meals to the food insecure that takes place on Super Bowl weekend each year. Our Confirmation candidates will be collecting at the doors of all the CCNCC churches during the weekend of February 12 and 13, with the funds collected used to provide food to the Joseph Outreach Van, Joseph House Shelter, and Sidewalk Warriors.

CONFIRMATION

The Ceremony of Light for Confirmation candidates and their families will be held on Saturday, May 15 at 7 pm at the Church of St. Joseph, Stuyvesant.

The Sacrament of Confirmation for all young people in Columbia County will be celebrated by Bishop Edward Scharfenberger on Sunday, May 22, at 3 pm at St. James Church in Chatham.

Sidewalk Warriors

Please continue to support this organization through your donations. The extremely cold weather means that there is a need for NEW thermal tops/ bottoms and thinsulated gloves for people. The need continues for food, as well as reusable bags and Ziplock style food bags. All donations can be dropped off at the CCNCC offices at 1025 Kinderhook Street in Valatie.
