Classes begin in October

“The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us, but that we will finally hear God."

Family Faith Formation for all levels begins in October with in-person sessions revolving around the theme of PRAYER.  As we did with last year’s in-person sessions for 9th and 10th graders, families will begin their formation time with Mass, community building with a light supper or continental breakfast, and formation.  In some instances, families will gather for a shared prayer experience, while at other times formation of the young people will occur while adults gather for a separate program.  In addition to the in-person sessions, families will be invited to help their community through service.  Already in the works is the fall cemetery cleanup.

Look for your registration form and schedule soon via the postal service. There will be a choice of Sunday morning at St. James or Sunday evening at St. John the Baptist.  Please be sure to check the schedule to see which time works best for your family.

Young people receiving Sacraments this year will gather for additional sessions.

If you are new to the program or did not register last year, please call Ruth Ellen at 518-758-1828 or email her to join the Family Faith Formation list.  Be sure to include your mailing address
