This weekend’s Gospel from Luke is referred to as the “Prodigal Son.”

The story is about a son, who takes his inheritance, spends it all and returns to his father.  The picture on the cover of this week’s bulletin depicts the scene of when the father and the son are reunited.   Might I suggest you sit with this picture for a few moments in silent prayer and then ask yourself these questions?

• Can you relate to the compassion and mercy of our Heavenly Father?
• Have you experienced this type of reunion with another person? With God?
• Who or what else do you see in this picture?

Please take an additional moment to pray for all those who are struggling in their faith and need to come home to God this Easter!  Thank you! - Fr. Steve

El Evangelio de Lucas de este fin de semana se conoce como el “Hijo Pródigo".  

La historia trata sobre un hijo, que toma su herencia, lo gasta todo y regresa con su padre.  La imagen en la portada del boletín de esta semana muestra la escena de cuando el padre y el hijo se reúnen.    ¿Podría sugerirle que se siente con esta imagen por unos momentos en oración silenciosa y luego se haga estas preguntas?   

• ¿Puedes relacionarte con la compasión y la misericordia de nuestro Padre Celestial?   
• ¿Has experimentado este tipo de reunión con otra persona?  Con Dios?
• ¿Quién o qué más ves en esta imagen?

 ¡Por favor, tómese un momento adicional para orar por todos aquellos que están luchando en su fe y necesitan volver a casa con Dios esta Pascua!  ¡Gracias! - P. Steve
