The month of May is the Month of Sacraments in the Parishes of St. Joseph, St. James, and St. John the Baptist!

On Sunday, May 22, Bishop Edward Scharfenberger celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. James. Eighteen young people from the three parishes and four churches of the Catholic Community of Northern Columbia County, joined with fourteen young people from the parishes of Our Lady of Hope and Holy Trinity to receive the Sacrament. We are grateful to our catechists, as well as the families of each of our young people who participated in family formation each month by attending Mass and formation with their young people. All of you continue to be hope in an uncertain world.

¡El mes de mayo es el Mes de los Sacramentos en las Parroquias de San José, Santiago y San Juan Bautista!

El domingo 22 de mayo, el obispo Edward Scharfenberger celebró el Sacramento de la Confirmación en St. James. Dieciocho jóvenes de las tres parroquias y cuatro iglesias de la Comunidad Católica del Norte del Condado de Columbia, se unieron a catorce jóvenes de las parroquias de Our Lady of Hope y Holy Trinity para recibir el Sacramento. Agradecemos a nuestros catequistas, así como a las familias de cada uno de nuestros jóvenes que participaron en la formación familiar cada mes asistiendo a Misa y formación con sus jóvenes. Todos vosotros seguís siendo esperanza en un mundo incierto.
