The Catholic Community of Northern Columbia County

The month of May is the Month of Sacraments in the Parishes of St. Joseph, St. James, and St. John the Baptist!

The celebration Masses for those receiving the Sacrament of Eucharist for the first time took place in each of the four churches of the three parishes that make up the one faith community of CCNCC. We are grateful to our catechists, as well as the families of each of our young children who embraced their roles as the first and most important teachers of our faith. The domestic church – the family – is where children observe and learn that the teachings of Jesus are still pertinent and lived out in today’s world.

¡El mes de mayo es el Mes de los Sacramentos en las Parroquias de San José, Santiago y San Juan Bautista!

Las Misas de celebración para quienes recibieron el Sacramento de la Eucaristía por primera vez se llevaron a cabo en cada una de las cuatro iglesias de las tres parroquias que conforman la comunidad de fe única de CCNCC. Estamos agradecidos con nuestros catequistas, así como con las familias de cada uno de nuestros niños pequeños que aceptaron sus roles como los primeros y más importantes maestros de nuestra fe. La iglesia doméstica, la familia, es donde los niños observan y aprenden que las enseñanzas de Jesús siguen siendo pertinentes y se viven en el mundo de hoy.
