"The value of persistent prayer is not that God will hear us, but that we will finally hear God."
The beginning is here!
This weekend we celebrate the birth of Jesus after four weeks of prayerful preparation. The message of Jesus is one of love and mercy towards others. It is the message we are called to practice each day until He comes again. May you all rejoice and enjoy this special time!
The next Family Faith Formation gatherings are Epiphany Sunday, January 8, at 5pm at St. John the Baptist, and Sunday, January 22 at 9:15 am at St. James.
Sidewalk Warriors
Please continue to supply cereal, pancake or waffle mix, mac and cheese, granola bars, tuna, peanut butter, and individually wrapped toilet paper for people facing food insecurity. You are the hands and feet of Jesus.
Thank You
A special thank you to Father Dan Quinn, Pastor of the Blessed Sacrament in Albany, for his bilingual evening of Advent reflection through prayer, commentary, and song. It was a joy-filled occasion for those who remember him as the associate for our three parishes before he became a pastor! A shout-out to the hospitality committee at the Church of St. Joseph for the reception and refreshments. Our community is blessed.
