Give Praise and Thanks to God – Alleluia!

We continue our Easter Season, as today is the Eighth day of Easter and the Second Sunday of Easter.  In a sense, it is the Alleluia Season. We will continue to have extra Alleluias throughout the 50 days of the Easter Season.

We have lots to thank and praise God for – the biggest is our core belief that Jesus was raised from the dead!  Have doubts about that?  Re-read the part of today’s Gospel where Thomas (one of the twelve Apostles) has lots of doubts that Jesus is alive.  While we don’t know where he was on that first Easter night, we do know that the following Sunday (the octave) Thomas was with the other disciples when Jesus appeared ...
